Here are some other great resources

I am so thrilled to share with you what I love and why!

These are resources that I have used personally. They have helped me in my own life, raise my child and have also helped me lift up others. My hope, is that this will do the same for you.

Paula’s first pick

Way of the Peaceful Warrior – Dan Millman

Now a major motion picture, this book is part-fictional and part-autobiographical and is based upon the early life of the author Dan Millman. Reading this book when I was in my early 20’s led to my “aha” moment. It was when I first realized I could “choose” my thoughts and therefore I could also choose to be happy.

Paula’s second pick

The Black Book of Colours – Menena Cottin

A New York Times Book Review choice as one of the 10 Best Illustrated Children’s Books of 2008, this groundbreaking, award-winning book endeavours to convey the experience of a person who can only see through his or her sense of touch, taste, smell or hearing.

I use this book when I am teaching the concept of ”perception” to elementary children.

LET’S GROW...

”It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken adults.”

— Frederick Douglas
